Christmas Christmas time is near, time for joy and time for cheer!
Since I'm getting married two days after Christmas this year, it has been all too easy to forget about the holiday completely! I have been so busy with wedding decorations and ceremony plans and food-tastings and you name it that everything else has been kind of at a standstill.
So the other night, I just took some time to focus on Christmas. I got the majority of my shopping done at one time (which was fantastic). Since I wasn't able to devote a lot of time or effort into decorating for Christmas or any of my usual Christmas traditions, I splurged a little and bought the prettiest wrapping paper I could find and spent the entire evening listening to the Julie Andrews Christmas record on my new record player from Madi (one of my favorite wedding gifts by far) and making my gifts look magical.
For the most part, forgetting about the hustle and bustle that this time of year brings has actually been kind of nice. And focusing a lot more on my soon-to-be husband and family is something I want to carry into next year's Christmas and all the rest.
Merry Christmas everyone!
