Pink Friday

On my way to brave the crowds of the busiest shopping day of the year I said "Black Friday", to which my little sister rolled her eyes and replied, "Max, that's when the Great Depression started." Hahaha! But seriously, I know it's the weekend when most retail companies finally make it out of the red for the year, but "Black Friday"? It just sounds so...depressing.

I don't know about all of you, but on Black Friday, I am HAPPY! I mean I'm sleep deprived, yes, but I have an arm full of new clothes that I just bought for pennies on the dollar....HAPPPPPYYY! So, I'm gonna call it Pink Friday, because pink is my favorite color (and lets just say that it's probably the best one out there).

Here's the list:

      Lace dress from Francesca's: $7.50
One shoulder dress from Francesca's: $7.50
Adorable journals from Francesca's: $2.50 each
Pink fair isle socks from American Eagle: $4.00
Riding boots from Rack Room Shoes: $19.98

...and one regular price Christmas present for Madi :) (picky,
      picky, picky)

Anyway, if you didn't go, you missed out on deals, adrenaline, and seeing what all of your friends would look like in a zombie apocalypse. Good times.....

Party Dresses

Holidays = party time! I have always wanted to go to a chic little Christmas party where you bring the hostess a gift and everyone mingles and drinks wine like the chill people they are while snow is falling and Christmas music is playing in the background. Do those really exist? I think I'm going to throw my own this year. I'm going to play Justin Bieber Christmas songs and wear one of these. You're all invited!

Right on Target

Okay, so I have always known that Target had cute things, but somehow it always slips off the radar in my typical shopping trip. NOT ANYMORE!!

About a week ago at work, one of my customers had on the CUTEST pair of low-cut oxfords I have ever seen in my life. They were so original and fun, I thought for sure they were from some obscure indie brand. When I asked where in the world those brilliant shoes came from, the girl just shrugged and said, "Hmm, Target." Followed by the words, "I think they were $20.00."

As you can imagine, my brain was running full throttle! The idea of owning those beautiful shoes for only $20.00 seemed too good to be true. As soon as I got off work, I rushed home to the wonderful world of online shopping, and cringed as I clicked the shoes button, just knowing that I would be disappointed by an ominous price tag sure to be more like $60.00 than $20.00. I almost fell off my chair when I saw that they WERE $20.00, and not only that, but they also come in GLITTER! And PINK! Merry Christmas to meeeeeee!
