The $250 Pants

Rewards cards crack me up sometimes. You get one punch for $10 spent and 25 punches gets you $10! Wait...so I buy $250 worth of merchandise and you'll throw in an extra $10 that I can spend on more of your merchandise. Yep.

I mean don't get me wrong, the incentives of rewards cards still get me every time, but when you think about it, it seems a little ridiculous.

So, there's two ways you can look at it: 1) I got these pants for spending $250 at a store or 2) I got these pants for free last night when I found them on sale for $9.98 and used my $10 reward at the cash register .

Yeah, let's go with free. Mmmmm-hmm...

This House Will Be My Home

I moved in to a new house. It's both beautiful and inspiring, a lot like the person I hope to be someday. And it's super old...which is definitely the person I will be someday. The way it looks makes me want to dress in glamorous vintage every day.

Diet Friday

Someone in my office referred to today as "Diet Friday", since tomorrow is a free vacation day for all (Happy Fourth, everyone!), but we still have to come back on the real Friday. So, I'm feeling very casual, and thought I would share one of my recent comfy finds. This tee from PacSun is sooooo soft, and I love the v-neck. It also comes in a ton of really original, cool patterns. 

Also, my sister's song was played on the radio today for the first time ever. Congratulations, Madi!!! I couldn't be more proud of all the hard work she has put in to this.
